With pride we inform you that the combined exhibition “Neighbours”, launched in Kazerne Dossin (the Memorial, Museum and Documentation Centre on the Holocaust and Human Rights in Mechelen/Belgium), will land in Krakow, Poland in February 2020.
**
After the big success of the Polish translation of J.S. Margots book ‘MAZEL TOW’, and thanks to the efforts of the Flemish Representation in Poland, the Jewish Community Center of Krakow is happy to host the exhibition.

Dan Zollmann’s unique photos of the nowadays Antwerp Chassidic community will be accompanied by excerpts of Margot’s Mazel Tow. The same exhibition was a big success in Belgium, where Her Majesty Queen Mathilde attended this unusual double-exposition. Queen Mathilde openly expressed her appreciation of the book and supported the exhibition, which she emphasized with Her visit. Mazzel tov seems to contribute in an important way to the rejection of anti-Semitism and in a broader sense, to the support of more tolerance.

Dan Zollmanns images give a unique look into the Antwerp Chassidic community. Zollmann, liberal jew himself, managed to open the doors of this very closed community. The book Mazel tow tells about daily life  in a modern jewish orthodox family, as seen and witnessed by a goj, an atheïst student with catholic roots.
